Help run the Girls’ school in Kaliyachak

Your support allowed us to restart a girls’ school in Kaliyachak, Nalanda district in 2017. The school now has 80 students and runs classes from Std I – VI, with new enrolments every month, attracting children from Kaliyachak and the surrounding villages.

We now need your help to continue to do this for the coming years and also to improve the facilities available to them. In addition to regular classes and the textbooks we provide, we would very much like to offer them more sports facilities, computer education, a hot meal everyday, regular health check-ups and an ever-expanding library. Our annual budget for all of this is 10 lakh Indian Rupees and no gift is small.

The importance of a good quality school education cannot be overstressed and this is an opportunity for us to make a difference to the lives to girls who would have, if this school did not exist, not gone to school at all.
